Our first day in Parma, we spent what little energy we had after the flight on lunch, at Trattoria Corrieri down by the University.

For our antipasto, a plate of culatello, a special type of prosciutto:


Colleen ate cappelletti con panna, handmade "little hats" in a cream sauce:


Josh had tris di tortelli, a mixture of herb, artichoke, and squash:


To drink, a local lambrusco, the fizzy red wine of Riunite fame [imfamy?]. It cuts the rich pasta fairly well, but I won't be bringing a bottle home.
